Roasted Brussels Sprouts…..
1 1/2 pounds Brussels Sprouts
1-2 TBSP Bacon Grease or Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2-3 TSP High Quality Maple Syrup
Sea Salt to taste
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
- Cut the hard brown ends off the Brussels sprouts and remove and yellowing leaves. Rinse well, and slice in half.
- In a bowl toss the Brussels sprouts in bacon grease or EVOO along with the Maple syrup until covered and sprinkle with sea salt as desired
- Pour the Brussels sprouts on a baking pan and bake 20-30 minutes, using a spatula once or twice to turn the sprouts or until they have achieved desired level of doneness
